Barbie Dress Up Games

There is no doubt that Barbie games are among the most popular and in demand games of today. If you are one of those Barbie fans, you will agree with me that Barbie is well known and the most popular doll ever created. Barbie dolls took the offline world by storm. This is why Barbie dress up games, (an online arcade game), are created. Creators of Barbie, as well as the devoted fans, want Barbie doll to be playable online as well.

If you have already played other dress up games, you may find that Barbie games are the same as them since you get the opportunity to select the garments and accessories for her. Not only that – playing Barbie dress up games – but it also includes applying make up, giving her jewelry and even an over all makeover, not only for Barbie but for her house as well.

Younger girls or teenagers would all like to become extremely trendy or so-called “fashionistas” when they grow up. Playing Barbie dress up games are one of the many ways that can help them to improve their sense of style and creativity. What they have to do here is to use their talents in mixing and matching clothes so that Barbie will look even better.

Understanding this type of game is very basic and straightforward. Since this game is targeted to the young ones, the instruction in playing and the how-to’s of this kind of game are very easy to follow.

Barbie dress up games will bring out the look that you have in mind for your Barbie doll. In this type of game, you will really act like a true fashion stylist as you are in control of the game as you radically change the style and the appearance of the popular personality.

Truly, Barbie games may improve the creativeness of a fashion style guru wannabee.

Rhonda Lillie and Paul Hawkins, living thousands of miles apart in real life, exchanged “virtual vows” at Second Life before ever meeting in person.

I can really relate to this, and my heart goes out to Rhonda and Paul. I met my husband, Charlie online, but we were lucky — we only lived 50 miles apart. These two lovebirds live thousands of miles from each other in different parts of the world.

I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to interact with your faraway loved one at a place like Second Life. Charlie and I had no idea the place existed back when we met. I’m sure it would have helped to bridge the distance at times. I hope that one day Rhonda and Paul will be able to tie the knot for real. Congratulations to them for taking this step.

Story here.

Magdalena Skizm at Caledon

For years, my daughter has been a member of a few of the virtual worlds out there, including IMVU; There.com, (which recently closed, much to her chagrin); and Second Life. She has hounded me for years to try them, but unfortunately, my old computer couldn’t handle the software.

That was then…this is now. I have a new computer with better hardware and she finally talked me into becoming a member of Second Life about 2 weeks ago, and I have been so hooked on it, I can barely think of anything else! I even DREAM ABOUT IT! Aaaahhh! But I am having so much FUN!

I’m still trying to learn the basics, but each day I learn a little more and pretty soon, I think I’ll be ready to do some heavy-duty role playing.

It has been ages since my days of role playing, (mainly Dungeons & Dragons), and things have really come a long way. Oh how I wish we’d had something like Second Life to use during our campaigns back then. It would have been so cool.

If you are on Second Life and would like to hang out with me, my avatar’s name is Magdalena Skizm. Would be so nice to have someone to explore with until I can get the hang of things, so…ADD ME PLEASE!
