From time to time, many of us require a place to store our belongings, whether it be household items, furniture, old photos, documents, or even a vehicle. This is when companies that offer self storage units come in very handy. Often, these companies provide much more than just a storage space, and below are listed the various other advantages of renting a unit to store your stuff.

Climate and Humidity Control

Some of us own delicate items, such as antiques, that require an environment that is climate controlled and will be protected from extreme temperatures. Many self storage companies provide units with built-in year-round temperature control and are also fully insulated. Many will also provide humidity control, which will prevent mold and mildew.

Security

We all need to know that our valuable items will be protected from theft. Most self storage companies provide round-the-clock security. If you need to store valuable items, it is best to look for a company that has an on-site manager, and provides security lighting, as well as cameras.

Packing Supplies

It can be a pain trying to acquire the right-sized boxes when packing your items for storage. You can run around town to various stores in hopes of finding just the right boxes, but if you have a rather large item to pack, it can be difficult to find one that it will fit in. If you choose the right self storage company, they can provide you with boxes of all sizes, along with other packing supplies you might need, such as packing tape, bubble wrap, and utility knives.

These are just a few advantages that I found to be very convenient and useful when I used a Chattanooga self storage company a few years ago. There are, of course, many other advantages to using self storage units as opposed to using your attic or garage, or some old building, but these are the ones I felt were most important.

It’s that time again, (summertime), when I start looking around for some cool shades. Usually, I search out the biggest ones I can find – you know the ones – those that make me look like a movie star. But I think I’ve come to the point in my life where I may have outgrown that kind of thing. One reason is I’m in serious need of my prescription eyeglasses to be able to read road signs when I’m driving – I’m terribly near-sighted – so I think it’s time I found some cool prescription sunglasses for this season.

Everyone likes to save money, and if I can, I like to pass along ways of doing so to my readers. When making purchases online, a very cool way you can save money is to enter coupon codes at check out. You can easily find them for hundreds of online stores. And it’s easy to do.

First, you will want to find a place that will do most of your work for you such as Savings.com. Let’s say there’s an awesome video game you’d like to buy at GameStop. Go to the Savings.com home page and search for “GameStop coupon codes.”

You will be brought to a page that lists all the GameStop coupon codes that are available. Find the one that suits your needs and click the “Get Code” button.

A pop-up window will then appear with all of the information about the code, including the expiration. Simply copy the code to your clipboard and then paste it into the appropriate box at the check out screen at GameStop.

Of course, you can do your own searches for coupon codes if you like, but that could take a lot of time that you can’t afford, and you may have to try dozens of codes before you find one that actually works. Believe me, I’ve been there. At Savings.com, they’ve already done that work for you. They have folks that continuously scour the internet for fresh codes. The community rates the codes, so you never have to go through the time-consuming process of trying several different codes. If the code is no good, the community will let you know and you can move on.

Not everyone is aware of coupon codes, that is why I feel it’s important to let you guys know about them. Why pay more when you don’t have to, right?

I really love my job. I get introduced to so many products that I never knew existed. This past weekend, we were executing what they called the “Citrus Extravaganza” event and both days I demonstrated those little Clementine oranges. All I can say is “WOW!” They are absolutely the best oranges I’ve ever tasted! I, just now, have sat here and eaten 4 of them, (I’m full now, thanks).

I don’t know why I had never heard of them before. Perhaps because in the past I’ve done my shopping at places like Save-A-Lot and Superama that don’t carry things like that. But since I’ve been doing product demonstration at Walmart, I’ve seen a lot of items that I never knew existed, like tuna in a box. What? Yes, you heard me right, tuna in a box!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know about Clementines and next time you’re at Walmart, grab you a bag of them. They’re so delish!
